Written and reviewed by: Henry Williams ClearScore, winner of Venture Funded Business of the Year at the Startups Awards 2016, has today announced that it has more than doubled its UK customer base to 4.6 million since launching in July 2015.The London-based company – which was recently ranked amongst the best workplaces in Britain – is a credit scoring service that allows users to access their credit report for free to help them monitor their financial situation.The last year has seen ClearScore improve its offering with the launch of a number of new features including Coaching, an interactive chatbot that can give users advice on how to improve the health of their credit score. To date, more than 600,000 people have used the service to receive personalised financial coaching.In June, the company launched its updated mobile apps for iOS and Android, which it says reached number one and three in their respective free finance app charts.Justin Basini, CEO and founder of ClearScore, commented: “When we launched we knew people were fed up with having to pay to access their own financial information.
