After wasted hours compiling reports from various interfaces, Shumel Lais decided there had to be a better way to inform advertising decisions. So, he set out to build an intelligent system that would enable customers to “just plug and play”.
In 2015, Lais launched Startups 100-featured Appsumer, an analytics platform that automates the decision-making process for in house marketing teams by unifying data “from EVERY source” and offers predictive insights into future performance to inform confident decisions.
The software is available on a subscription model, with various tiers depending on the level of ad spend a customer wishes to store and analyse in the platform.
To date, Appsumer has secured a variety of major clients including Viber, Lovoo, Trainline, Touchnote and Canon and it boasts that 100% of businesses that have entered into a trial membership have progressed to paid with a 0% churn rate.
And the potential of its powerful analytics software hasn’t just been recognised by UK firms. In fact, 85% of the company’s revenue currently comes from outside of the UK.
With seven years of user acquisition experience under his belt and expeirence in managing marketing for 40 brands across 30 countries, Lais is well placed to scale Appsumer to where it needs to be..
He’s also supported by a team of 20 that has collective experience managing performance marketing for major global brands including eBay, and JustEat.
