“The Startups Awards judging day was another fabulous experience, with this year more than any raising the bar in terms of the calibre of entries as well as the quality of the judges, present company excepted. The diverse range of entries, the scale that some of these businesses have reached in such a short period of time as well as the quality of the entries made the category judging particularly challenging but I believe we have some awards that will truly recognise some future stars in the UK start-up scene. I'm excited for the awards night and hope to celebrate with many of the companies on the evening!”

Nick Wheeler, founder, Charles Tywrhitt

“This is a truly great award. The standard of the short list is genuinely top notch and the judging process is more rigorous than any other competition I have ever judged.”

Cath Kidston, founder, Cath Kidston

“Thank you so much for inviting me to the judging. It was a fascinating afternoon with a great cross section of entrants and judges . I very much enjoyed it.”

Rory Stirling, investor, Business Growth Fund

“I had an amazing afternoon. I love how diligent and passionate all of the judges were in their deliberations and the quality of the applicants was truly awesome.”
