Richard Baister, member of the 2012 Young Guns alumni, has started a new drinks business, Brainwave, which claims to potentially help reduce the chances of developing Alzheimers or dementia in later life.

Available to pre-order online now, the scientifically developed soft drink contains natural ingredients including green tea, which is alleged to help reduce cognitive degradation, and keep brain’s healthy and functioning.

The drink has been inspired by independent and published research, commissioned by the Brainwave brand, which shows a positive correlation between drinking green tea at a certain level combined with other natural elements.

Baister’s latest venture intends to build on the success of his calorie-burning beverage company SUMO drinks which, since its launch in 2011, has been stocked in over 850 stores and has secured several major international distribution contracts.
