The country’s stand-out young entrepreneurs can now apply to be part of the Young Guns ‘Class of 2017’ and become part on an exclusive club – the prestigious awards shining a light on exceptional individuals behind 30 fast-growing UK businesses.

Sponsored by haysmacintyre and DeVono Cresa with Home House as official partner, the annual Young Guns Awards celebrates founders aged 35 and under who have built companies with huge growth potential and have the financials to back it up.

This is the 15th year for the Awards, with Young Guns alumni members including Michael Acton Smith, founder of Moshi Monsters creator Mind Candy; Innocent Drinks co-founder Richard Reed, and Holly Tucker MBE – co-founder of Notonthehighstreet.com

To be eligible you must be:

  • The founder, co-founder, managing director or CEO of a privately-owned UK business
  • Aged 35 or under
  • Running a company with turnover and/or funding of £1m or more

Last year’s class included Alice Bentinck and Matt Clifford; the founders of Entrepreneur first who were recently awarded MBEs,  Andrew Jennings of popular watch brand Larsson and Jennings, and Lily Simpson: founder of The Detox Kitchen, which counts Elle Macpherson, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Suki Waterhouse as fans.

The 2017 Young Guns awards ceremony will be held later this Autumn on Friday 15 September  at the Kensington Roof Gardens, London where the official Class of 2017 will be revealed, alongside the Top Gun and Golden Gun titles.

In 2016, the haysmacintyre Top Gun title – credited to the Young Gun the judges feel stands out – was awarded to Olivia Burton founders Jemma Fennings and Lesa Bennett, while Dr Ben Medlock MBE and Jon Reynolds MBE of SwiftKey were crowned the Golden Gun title in recognition of their exceptional achievements.

If you think you’ve got what it takes to be named amongst the top young business leaders in the UK apply here today!
