It’s been a big year for car repair marketplace ClickMechanic, having given out its two millionth quote and securing more and more users every day.

Now founding duo Andrew Jervis and Felix Kenton have another achievement to add to their list of accolades after being named in the Young Guns Five to Watch; two years after their company was included in the prestigious Startups 100 index.

The pair’s venture, ClickMechanic, is an online marketplace for locating and providing quotes from vetted mechanics to help consumers be confident they are getting a quality mechanic at a competitive price.

In turn, independent mechanics and garages have a source of ongoing leads from which to access steady workflow, boost growth and increase profits.

Having recently appointed a new head of engineering and a head of growth, brought in a PR department and bolstered its sales team, the company is set to implement some pretty ambitious expansion plans over the next 12 months.

In particular, the team plan to focus on improving its product as well as looking to international markets. By using machine learning the team hope to radically improve its quote engine to enable more accurate and full quote pricing for customers and mechanics.

Backed by its most recent funding of $1m, ClickMechanic is set to bring its solution to a vastly larger audience in 2017 as it grows its pool of mechanics and users significantly.

Jervis and Kenton’s ultimate dream for the business? To become “Europe’s number one reliable tool for car repairs”.
