Founded on the belief that workspaces should “look good, feel good” and help its clients businesses to grow, is three time Startups 100-featured Headspace – the London start-up helping its peers avoid the “headaches of running an office”.

Launched in 2013 by Jonny Rosenblatt, Headspace is a co-workspace provider that offers “uniquely designed, inspiring office space” to a community of largely creative, technology and media businesses. Doing away with the pressure of five-year commitments, companies can manage their growth by taking out short-term leases on everything from co-workspaces to private offices, even entire floors at its Farringdon and Marylebone sites, as well as meeting and event space. Currently, Headspace houses around 400 tenants from 35 companies across its two sites, such as MOVE Guides, Eventbrite, Adazzle and the London School of Photography. It has also provided services to more than 300 other businesses including major international brands Buzzfeed, Tesco, Microsoft and Deloitte. A third location is set to be launched in January 2017.

So far without raising external finance, the 11-strong co-workspace provider has seen strong growth in its three year’s of operation with a philosophy that recognises the importance of inspirational spaces for innovative businesses. Set to pull in £2m in revenues this year, Headspace is already projecting £3m for 2017.
