As founders of two multi-million pound businesses, Ross Marshall and Andrew Harding fit Young Guns like a glove. The London-based entrepreneurs started Your Golf Travel, their first company, in 2005 offering consumers a range of golf breaks and holidays to destinations in the UK, Ireland and Europe. Shortly after, the pair acquired the domain for Spabreaks.com and joined with honorary co-founder Abi Wright (35) to launch spa and holiday retreat service Spabreaks in 2008. To date, Your Golf Travel, which employs over 100 staff, has helped over 440,000 customers visit more than 3,000 destinations in 22 countries and has annual revenue figures of £54m. The financials ensured it was listed in the Fast Track 100 four years running. It’s a similar story for the 41-person Spabreaks, which boasts a £10m turnover for 2013, having helped over 250,000 customers since formation. In 2011, Abi Wright introduced Recovery Retreats, an industry first offering spa experiences for cancer patients. Having established both profit-making ventures without any funding, we’d be shocked if they told us they hadn’t been approached to sell.
