Founded in 2010 by ex-fashion buyer and stylist Sophie Hill, Threads is a global fashion concierge that sources and delivers bespoke packages for men and women. Taking the hard work out of shopping, Threads connects high-net worth clients with the latest and most sought after designer clothes and accessories.

Glowing endorsements and recommendations have seen the business achieve fast-growth over the last few years and the platform has expanded into international markets including Europe and Russia, Asia and the Middle East and the US. The business has also secured impressive corporate partnerships with brands such as Amex Centurion and well known luxury retail partnerships with Dior, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Harrods, Matches and MyTheresa to name a few. Having grown into a 37 strong team of in-house staff and consultants – based in the firm’s headquarters in London and in other ‘fashion capitals’ Paris and New York – the business grew revenue to over £3m turnover this year. 

Impressive stuff, but it’s a drop in the water for Hill whose ambition is to see the business grow to £95m revenue within three years. Thanks to an aggressive growth strategy, which will be aided by the launch of a new tech platform and a planned Series A round, alongside growing the company’s e-commerce element, overseas markets and corporate partnerships – it’s a target that could just be within reach…
