The business that started life as an online tailor in 2006 now has three permanent branches in London and 13 ‘tailor-stops’ across the UK, where customers can consult with a stylist and choose a suit that fits perfectly. Roving tailors also visit businesses, while customers ordering online are helped by measuring and style wizards, which offer 40 billion design combinations.

Turnover is expected to hit £2.4m this year, as Warren Bennett and David Hathiramani continue their mission to become “Britain’s local tailor”.

2012 update: The world’s first online tailor company has expanded to 33 stores UK-wide, employing over 50 staff. Now turning over £3m annually, A Suit That Fits recently launched Load Your Lining, offering customers a chance to decorate their suit lining with personal photographs.
