Richard Reed announces “UK’s first” small business funding exhibition

Richard Reed, the co-founder of Innocent Drinks and venture capital fund JamJar Investments, has backed the launch of the “UK’s first ever” small business funding exhibition which will look to connect entrepreneurs with key finance providers.

Taking place February next year in Old Billingsgate, London, the Business Funding Show (BFS) intends to “help pave the paths to success” for small and medium enterprises and will include a range of seminars and workshops covering debt, equity and growth finance.

Speakers will include Pimlico Plumbers founder Charlie Mullins MBE, Angels Den founder Bill Morrow., JustEat CEO David Buttress, 2015 Apprentice winner Mark Wright and Crowdcube investment manager Michael Wilkinson.

There will also be workshops, bootcamps and a one-to-one advice clinic to help business owners get “investment ready”.

Arina Osiannaya, director of the Business Funding Show, said of the upcoming event: “Modern entrepreneurs are still failing to consider all the options available to secure the right and best funding for their businesses.
