Home business ideas

Thinking of starting a business from home? There are many types businesses that can be run from the comfort of your own home, whether as a way to earn extra money or as a full-time business.

Popular home business ideas you could consider are:

Alternatively, if you have good contacts, then you could start an event planning business such as wedding planning – bear in mind that some travel might be involved here (there are many other business ideas that could be started at home but fall into this category, such as dog walking).

If you’re happy to make your home available to others, then good home business ideas could be starting a childminding business, a consultancy, or even renting a room out on Airbnb or opening a full bed and breakfast. Even some hair salons can be started at home!
