After 17 years as global CEO and CEO Asia-Pacific at ActionCOACH, Vic Ciuffetelli has announced that he will be joining the brand’s UK support team in order to focus solely on “imparting knowledge and adding value” to British ActionCOACH businesses.

For his new role, Ciuffetelli and his wife Marilyn have relocated to the UK, where he will be working closely with the brand’s UK franchisees in order to help them drive growth through a series of support events taking place throughout the year.

Ciuffetelli is currently involved in a series of 14 regional meetings with franchisees, and has just aided global founder Brad Sugars in hosting a UK tour which saw over 2,000 business owners, including ActionCOACH franchisees and their clients, learn about “taking their business to the next level”.

With 30 years’ experience in business growth, Ciuffetelli had previously helped Sugars to expand the brand into 72 countries, relocate the global support office from Brisbane, Australia, to Las Vegas, and push the chain “to its highest peak so far”.

However, Ciuffetelli says that he is “a builder, not a manager”, and so, having achieved priority growth milestones, felt ready to step down from his CEO role. The brand’s UK co-founder Ian Christelow then saw an opportunity for Ciuffetelli to focus his expertise on the UK’s ActionCOACH franchise network.

Originally launched in 1993 in Brisbane, Australia, ActionCOACH is a global business coaching brand, helping business owners to successfully run and grow their companies. It says that its UK network of franchisees is its fastest-growing and its most successful.

This new appointment is in line with the brand’s ambitious plans for its UK network – currently, over 170 ActionCOACH franchisees are in operation across the country, but the brand’s vision is to boost this to 3,600 and occupy 6% of the business market.

According to ActionCOACH, Ciuffetelli is “passionate about ActionCOACH’s philosophy of helping business owners create better businesses.

“He believes, through education and the coaching process, business owners gain insight that leads to impactful change in every area, including personal and family lives.”

Ciuffetelli commented: “Many of our franchise partners choose to build a coaching firm with employed coaches and my role is to help them drive the growth of their firms and take ActionCOACH to a new stratosphere.

“Living that philosophy has made getting hands-on with the world’s number one business coaching firm a very fulfilling purpose. Marilyn and I have settled in a beautiful rural location south of Doncaster, yet another very different location compared to Brisbane and Las Vegas but incredibly enjoyable.”
