Concertlive began following a discussion between founders James and Adam after a Massive Attack gig, when they said it would be nice to have a memento of the band’s performance.
The company, which allows fans to leave gigs with a recording minutes after it has finished, was launched in 2005 after a £20,000 investment. James and Adam say they overcame initial problems convincing bigger artists and record labels to come on board by lobbying the official charts company, and now the pair have a £1.2m turnover, with a flourishing client portfolio.
