Ethical PR company Green Rocket Media was started in 2007, when founder Kim realised small green businesses were being knocked out of the market by big companies with hefty marketing budgets keen to showcase their green credentials. The business invests 75% of its profits into educating people about environmental issues, but Kim says as a company ‘set up to do good in an industry with a negative reputation’, people are often wary of cynical marketing tactics. “There’s a lot of greenwashing going on,” she says.
