Funded by the Welsh Assembly’s growth programme, Afan Films was founded in early 2006, and is set to produce its first feature next year. Philip, who is also a writer and has a series of sci-fi novels on the way, says the film industry presents several unique challenges. “You have to start again every time with a different group of people. It means the industry fluctuates, but never goes out,” he says.
