The Climb Online story:

Claiming to be “the most successful businesses founded by an Apprentice winner to date”, Climb Online is a digital marketing agency founded by Apprentice 2014 winner Mark Wright.

Believing the digital marketing world had “a reputation around secrecy and dishonesty”, Wright sought to create a more likeable, customer-orientated service.

Providing SEO services, pay-per-click, social media advertising and web design, Climb Online draws its revenue from multiple sources including monthly retainers, a management fee for paid search and payment in full for website design.

The “fastest growing digital marketing agency of 2015”, works with the likes of Groupon, Company Check, Be Wiser Insurance and Emirates Group ‘Imagine Cruising’ – to name but a few.

Wright acts as an ambassador and mentor to The Prince’s Trust on behalf of Climb Online, where he mentors people from disadvantaged young people looking to start their own business

Why Climb Online made our shortlist:

Having repaid Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment after just nine months, and in just its second year of trading, Climb Online expects to double its turnover 2017. Next year will also see its first expansion overseas, with an office due to open in Cape Town, South Africa early next year – followed by Australia and Dubai.
