The Caremark story:

Caremark Sutton looks to care for adults and children by supporting them to be as independent and comfortable in their homes as possible.

A franchise business, the domicilary care company delivers the same high-quality care we would expect for our own families and, in spite of the ‘social care crisis’, has witnesses continued growth.

Having started trading in October 2013, it was in 2015 that owner Hannah Drury took over as franchisee following the death of her stepfather, aged just 23 years-old.

Two years on and Drury has demonstrated her business acumen with profits up 74% in that time supported by contracts with the local authority and privately-funded clients.

Working with a team of 60, Drury is expecting to hit seven figure revenues next year and says she is focused on “coming up with innovative growth methods in a difficulty industry”.

Already, Drury’s achievements in growing Caremark Sutton have received industry recognition, In June of this year, the female entrepreneur was awarded Young Franchisee of the Year and Franchisee of the Year at the esteemed bfa Franchise of the Year Awards 2017.

Will Drury take home another title at the Startups Awards 2017?

Why Caremark made our shortlist:

In the current climate, social care is integral and Caremark Sutton is helping families and local authorities give people young and old the care they so desperately need.

Caremark Sutton’s growth in the last two years under Drury’s direction, merged with her own personal determination and resilience, is hugely inspiring and shows just what can be achieved by becoming a franchisee.
