After several painful relocations while working in the financial sector, Brynne Herbert was determined that planning a move should be more like planning a holiday.

While in the middle of an MBA at London Business School she founded MOVE Guides – a business that makes it easier for companies to move their employees for recruitment, relocating, projects or expatriate assignments. Describing itself as “the cloud platform for talent mobility” the Startups 100 business takes care of all aspects of the moving process, from integrated payments to automated workflows and reporting; integrating into a company’s core IT system and accessible from any device. MOVE Guides claims to save 25% on vendor costs (relocation related expenses) as well as offering over 50% lower fees than traditional relocation management companies, an appealing proposition that has already supported moves across 200 locations and 100 currencies since launch in 2012.

Thanks to closing a massive $8.2m Series A in 2014, the company has grown from 15 to more than 75 employees and opened offices in San Francisco and Hong Kong, alongside existing offices in New York and London. If the past year of stellar growth is anything to go by, MOVE Guides is going to be one to watch.
