Cristiana Camisotti and Pete Smith want to make it easier than ever for people to land their dream tech jobs, which is why they created jobs fair start-up Silicon Milkroundabout. First launched in a pub with 40 start-ups in May 2011, the duo’s  twice yearly events have scaled to major London venues with over 180 of the UK’s brightest tech businesses, including Uber, Zoopla, ASOS and Candy Crush creator King, attending and advertising thousands of jobs.

Having come from London’s start-up community – Smith is the co-founder of Songkick – the young entrepreneurs were determined to connect the UK’s most talented developers, data scientists, designers, product people and marketers with the teams “making the internet”.

The duo say their events are “where the magic happens” and the tech world seems to agree, with start-ups and leading organisations such as BBC News, TripAdvisor and Facebook all signed up to take part in the next Silicon Milkroundabout jobs fair.

With a team of just 10 employees, their lean and profitable business is projecting £1.5m turnover for 2015/2016 alongside global expansion to the US. One to watch indeed!
