Barry Houlihan, 2006 Young Gun and 2011 Golden Gun winner, has announced his latest venture ; a mobile sports social network which will look to bring together live celebrity responses and reactions to sports news and live sporting events.

Currently in beta stage, BreatheSport follows on the back of Houlihan’s recent $75m sale of his mobile company Mobile Interactive Group (MIG) and its subsidiaries.

Said to be “an entirely new concept” with a “troll free area” for fans to see what celebrities, pundits and journalists are talking about, Houlihan intends to launch the site at the end of this year with $1.5m angel investment from MIG backers to take it out of beta.

With over 100 sporting celebrities already signed up to the platform and former England star Peter Reid on BreatheSport’s advisory board, the tech entrepreneur looks set to build on his past successes.
