Three years ago young entrepreneurs to watch Josh and Hyrum Cook realised the old fashioned and utilitarian photo booth needed a makeover. Today, their company Zeven Media works with some of the world’s biggest brands including Adidas, Marie Claire, Diesel, Selfridges and Ferrari.

The Manchester-based business, which was named as one of our five to watch last year, supplies sleekly designed rental booths, featuring contactless payment and instant upload to Facebook or Twitter, for events or long-term lease. It has now expanded its offering to include a bespoke social events and marketing service. Available for corporate events, exhibitions, store launches and parties, Zeven’s booths are more than just a fun distraction for guests – both the booths and photos can be customised with logos or graphics to increase exposure and awareness, while any contact information entered is recorded and supplied to the brand to inform future marketing and advertising.

Over the last 10 months, the brothers have launched athleisure clothing company Adanola – and the company has since grown significantly with its social media following just shy of 25,000 and sales reaching more than 25 countries worldwide. Zeven, which has raised £50,000 in funding to date after a successful appearance on Dragons’ Den, continues to grow and evolve and is set to turnover £1.5m next year – we’ll be continuing to watch it closely.
