After seeing the rising popularity of photo booths in the US, young brothers Joshua and Hyrum Cook saw an opportunity to update the traditionally unsightly box shaped booths for the UK market – with both a design and digital upgrade.

Claiming to be unique in this country, Startups 100 listed Zeven Media offers stylish, freestanding, contactless payment and social media enabled photo booths for rent or long term lease.

With £50,000 backing from Dragon Deborah Meaden, just two years since launch the Manchester-based business has worked with a hugely impressive list of clients including global brands Adidas, Ferrari, and Diesel, high-end retailers such as Selfridges and Harvey Nichols and events like the BRIT awards and V Festival.

Providing the option for clients to brand the booths, it’s easy to see the appeal of the duo’s contemporary take on the photo booth, and with demand continuing to rise, Zeven is projecting to hit more than £1.5m in revenue for the coming year. Having already worked with fashion brands, car manufacturers and festivals, we can’t wait to see what’s next for this fast-growing product business.
