Salad bar chain Tossed, founded by 2008 Young Gun Vincent McKevitt, has today announced the opening of its new Holborn store, the 14th outlet in its UK network.

Launched in 2005, Tossed is on a “mission to make healthy eating delicious” serving healthy salads, breakfast choices which include salmon and scrambled eggs, and lunch options of protein hot pots and wraps which you can order online for store collection.

Its new store, located at London’s 60 Holborn Viaduct, is the latest addition to the brand’s portfolio with successful outlets operating in Westfield London and Stratford, as well as Kent shopping mall Bluewater.

Publicised as the “Tossers having arrived” in Holborn, the launch tracks the growth of McKevitt’s brand, going from five London sites in 2008 to 14 sites six years later with plans to increase this figure by the end of the year.

McKevitt commented: “Londoner’s are more conscious than ever about what is in their food and our Tossers are here to help them eat the right way.

“It’s our mission to put the fun back into make healthy eating and we do so by serving up delicious fresh foods with a touch of cheekiness to ensure all our guests leave with a smile. We are growing, so watch this space as we’ll be announcing further store openings soon!”
