Written and reviewed by: Megan Dunsby Student entrepreneurs have just one week left to enter the National Association of College and University Entrepreneurs’ (NACUE) Varsity Pitch competition, with £10,000 funding available to the winners.Running for the past five years, the contest looks to celebrate the “best businesses” coming out of colleges, universities and further education institutions across the UK.Previous winners include Bio-Bean, Blaze, pleasecycle and swogo.The competition – dubbed the UK’s “premier student business competition” – runs in three stages and culminates in a pitch final during November’s Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) where students will compete to win the £10,000 prize to develop their start-up.There are eight categories for students to enter; social impact, disruptive, genuine innovation, creative, apps and online, product design, entertainment, and young founders (aged 16 to 19).Entries for Varsity Pitch close on October 21, submit your one minute video pitch for the competition here.
