Written and reviewed by: Megan Dunsby The newly revamped investor line-up for the 15th series of Dragons’ Den has been revealed with entrepreneurs Jenny Campbell and Tej Lalvani joining existing dragons Deborah Meaden, Peter Jones, and Touker Suleyman on the panel.The duo have replaced “terrific Dragons” Sarah Willingham MBE and Moonpig founder Nick Jenkins; who both announced their exit from the show back in February.Who are the new Dragons?Jenny CampbellA former RBS executive, Campbell is the CEO of YourCash Europe; a company which specialises in the provision of secure ATM machines for businesses. Under Campbell’s guidance, YourCash has grown to achieve annual turnover in excess of £30m and currently operates 5,000 ATMs for corporate and retail markets.On becoming a Dragon, Campbell said: “I’m looking forward to using my extensive business skills to spot the next generation of entrepreneurs and help them realise their business dreams.”Tej LalvaniLalvani is the CEO of Vitabiotics; said to be the UK’s largest vitamins company with current group turnover of over £300m. His father founded the company back in 1971 and Lalvani worked his way up from forklift driver to CEO of the business.On his new role, Lalvani commented: “I’m very excited to be joining the Dragons’ Den line-up. I’m a shrewd investor and I’m looking forward to finding hard working, passionate people to share my business experience and knowledge with.”Lalvani is a last-minute replacement for Steve Parish, the chairman and part owner of Crystal Palace Football Club, who had originally agreed to be a Dragon in May but stepped down as he felt unable to “give the time and commitment the show needs”.With the new series of Dragons’ Den returning to our screens later this year, click here for our round-up of the show’s biggest success stories to date.
