Second Cup, the coffee franchise originally started in Canada, is rolling out its offering in the UK and is looking for new franchisees to support its expansion plans.

With locations in Manchester, Birmingham, and London currently, the café chain is set to open five new locations by the end of 2016 with new sites in Putney, Harrow, Cariff and Kensington.

Established in 1975 in Toronto, Second Cup has over 160 cafés operating across 30 regions worldwide and offers coffees made from speciality coffee beans, alongside iced teas, frozen shakes, smoothies and more.

The franchise brand says it is actively seeking UK franchise partners and its president and CEO, Jim Ragas, has encouraged budding entrepreneurs to get in touch at jragas@mysecondcup.com

The chain says its ideal candidates are those the can demonstrate business acumen and leadership and will have experience in management, marketing and sales.

Ragas commented: “We are very excited about our continuous UK expansion and can’t wait for all of the new cafes to open. Growth, qualty and innovation have always been at the cornerstone of our brand.”
