London Technology Week to return in June

London Technology Week is to return next month to bring together leading figures from the world of technology to broadcast the capital’s tech credentials and attract tens of thousands of entrepreneurs, investors and developers.

Running from the 15-21 June, around d 60 events have already been confirmed for the event including start-up pitches to  presentations from major players in the global tech industry, as well as the flagship Interop London 2015 trade show at the ExCel Centre from June 16-18.

The new group of London Technology Week ambassadors includes Mind Candy founder Michael Acton Smith OBE, Brightbridge Ventures CEO Dan Cobley, Lastminute.com founder Martha Lane Fox CBE, London Stock Exchange Group CEO Xavier Rolet, and WPP Group CEO Martin Sorrell.

Global brands in attendance are sponsors Bloomberg, Accenture, Stack Exchange and Goldman Sachs, as well as some fast-growth businesses Funding Circle and Blippar.

2014 saw the inaugural Technology Week take place in the capital, with thousands of people from around the world attending a calendar of 200 events featuring speakers including Boris Johnson, Sir Michael Moritz and Simon Breakwall.

ExCel London, Canada House, The Ritz and The Shard are set to host events as well as co-working spaces Central Working, Rainmaking Loft and The Trampery.
