Written and reviewed by: Julia Watts European co-working space provider Mindspace is set to open its doors to UK entrepreneurs and businesses for the first time, with the launch of a new location at Whitechapel, London, set for December 2017.Spanning two floors and over 30,000 square feet, Mindspace’s first UK facility will accommodate 700 members, including entrepreneurs, freelancers and those working for businesses ranging from start-ups to global enterprises.The workspace is expected to provide boutique-style offices, meeting rooms and lounges alongside stocked and equipped kitchens. According to Mindspace, members – who pay an all-inclusive membership fee – will be able to access any of its other facilities across the globe.Additionally, Mindspace runs a range of events to help members “upskill” in various business pursuits, and says it can also offer members special rates from the likes of Amazon and Microsoft, as well as discounts at local restaurants, hotels, services and suppliers.Opening at the Relay Building on Whitechapel High Street, the new workspace will be close to Aldgate East tube station and within walking distance of the City and Shoreditch. Whitechapel Gallery and Old Spitalfields Market are also nearby.Founded in 2014, Mindspace operates 13 co-working spaces in locations such as Berlin, Munich, Warsaw, Herzliya and Tel Aviv.
