Royal Mail has today launched MailshotMaker, an online tool that enables small businesses to design and send their own mailshots to customers.
The postal service has said there is no minimum volume or contract required and mailshots can be sent from 49p per mailing; arriving within three working days.
Mailshots come in three formats – A5 postcard, A4 letter and sealed-mailer – with different templates, themes and 100 pictures and graphics to suit different businesses.
The service intends to help small businesses to develop and manage their marketing in-house, as well as to reach new and existing customers.
Jonathan Harman, managing director at Royal Mail MarketReach, said of the new offering:
“MailshotMaker is made for business people, be they the company owner or a marketing executive, who want a simple, fast and affordable solution to drive a positive response among consumers.”
