Howamigoing is an employee feedback platform. But it’s not just any feedback platform: The award-winning service is designed to deliver employees their feedback throughout the year, upping productivity and dropping staff turnover in the process of keeping everyone on the same properly motivated page.

Howamigoing’s self-proclaimed secret sauce is its deep focus on the service’s core users, the employees

Launched in 2018, the London-based Howamigoing offers a five-feature system to cover all feedback needs: Private Feedback, for allowing users to gather feedback at any time; Ask Me Anything, for leadership to collect and respond to anonymous questions either in private or public; Good Vibes, a company-wide board for publicly recognising colleagues; Pulse Surveys, a machine-learning feature that delivers culture insights to leadership; and 360 Feedback, for team leads and employees to parse feedback at set intervals throughout the year.

Howamigoing’s self-proclaimed secret sauce is its deep focus on the service’s core users, the employees — as opposed to just keeping HR directors appeased. That focus seems to work, based on what users have to say (Yes, the feedback platform has good feedback. Who would have guessed?).

Liz Newman, Chief People Officer at Cambridge’s Stratospheric Platforms, says that Howamigoing has enabled a “progressive, positive, inclusive, commercially focused culture that drives commercial success that everyone owns.”

Khanh Vu, Head of People at Perx Technologies, notes that the platform empowered and engages even the quieter employees and gave their company “a more accurate read on our culture.”

Marketing costs have stayed under £5,000 in total, thanks to strong word of mouth

Thanks to the platform, active users across 30 countries have been engaged as well, saving clients thousands in recruiter fees and opportunity cost. Howamigoing rebuilt and relaunched its platform on 1 April 2020, using a Slack-like freemium model paired with extended free trials to aid businesses amid UK lockdowns, though they have updated with platform and support fees in 2021.

Marketing costs have stayed under £5,000 in total, thanks to strong word of mouth, with clients including 1,500 staffers at the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation and 700 workers at the City Chic Collective retailer.
