Bubbleology bubble tea café launched at the end of April 2011 on Rupert Street in Soho, quickly followed by a café concession on the Fifth Floor of Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge, in July 2011. Bubble tea originated in Taiwan in the eighties from a mere stall in Taipei’s night market, the drink has become so popular that there are now over 8000 Bubble Tea cafes in the country. Bubble tea is a tea-based soft drink in a variety of fruit and milk flavours with the exciting addition of chewy tapioca at the bottom of the cup. Bubbleology launched bubble tea in to the UK with a phenomenal response – the company has already been experiencing exponential growth long term – and is soon to launch international franchises.
