AffectvPromising to deliver the ‘next generation’ of audience-targeting technology, Calvert’s innovative marketing platform looks to make advertising more relevant by giving publishers and advertisers access to unrivalled insights and ad targeting capabilities across all social media sites and platforms. The pioneering start-up offers an end-to-end solution enabling brands to target their communication with consumers by finding out which brand is most relevant for a person, and what message will be most enticing to present in the advert.

Within two years, the London-based digital marketing company has developed a client base of over 60 companies and revenue has grown at 150% each year. The business managed to scale on organic revenue alone to over 35 people before securing a £2m funding round in July. It now plans expand its offering to Europe over the coming year.

This impressive start-up was also named Digital Business of the Year.

Judges’ comments

Glen Calvert’s business convinced judges that Affectv’s advertising technology and the several patent-pending innovations will deliver huge value for publishers, advertisers and users, demonstrated by its mouth-watering revenue and profit growth amid a challenging economic environment.
