Iqbal Wahhab is the founder of two of London’s most celebrated restaurants – The Cinnamon Club (2001) in Westminster and Roast (2005) in Borough Market.

He chairs the Asian Restaurant Skills Board, serves as a commissioner for the UK Commission for Employment and Skills and supports a number of social and community projects.

In 2010 he was awarded an OBE for public service and services to the hospitality industry and was also made a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts. He’s featured in this year’s 100 Most Connected Men in Britain by GQ and has two honorary doctorates.
