The Vape Emporium story:

Featured in the Startups 100 for two years consecutively, Vape Emporium is on a mission to become the household name in vaping – targeting the UK’s enormous potential market of 10 million users.

Started in 2013 by university friends Andy Logan and Amar El-Zayat when they struggled to find anywhere to buy vaping products or to get reliable information on vaping, Vape Emporium sells over 200 flavours of gourmet e-liquids, hardware and accessories from its Hampstead Heath and Richmond stores as well as online.

Vape Emporium claims to avoid the “pushy salesman mentality”, opting for ‘Vape Consultants’ who are employed for their customer skills, soft skills and product knowledge. It says this leads to a better and longer lasting relationship with customers who often return and bring others.

The company now has thousands of customers throughout the country and is about to embark on an ambitious three-year expansion plan including the opening of its third and fourth store within the next sixth months.

Why Vape Emporium made our shortlist:

Vape Emporium doesn’t just provide its customers with vaping products, it’s on a mission to give smokers a more “enjoyable and healthier smoke-free lifestyle”. On the verge of opening its third and fourth store, this is just the beginning for the ambitious brand.
