The Attachment London story

Just a couple of years ago, Attachment London was still a twinkle in its founders’ eyes.

Now it’s one of the world’s hottest talent management platforms, having masterminded a performance by Lady Gaga in an igloo and played matchmaker to James Corden and Miss Piggy.

Combining an end-to-end booking platform with a bespoke consultancy, Attachment prides itself on making clients’ marketing visions a reality, however outlandish they may seem (the piano duet between Piggy and Corden a case in point).

The founders offer an ideal blend of skills: former Universal Music exec Chris Elrin brings the contacts book, while Ben Saul-Garner offers the marketing nous.

The business is based on three key facets: its agency work, which provides a global and local event creation service; a licensing arm, which allows performers to create their own commercial projects; and a venture operation, which connects emerging talent with companies that can provide funding.

Although they’ve entered a hugely competitive market, the founders believe they will succeed with a business that is fun, fast and straight-forward.

In an industry famous for taking itself far too seriously, Chris and Ben say they want to bring the enjoyment back. After all, it’s supposed to be about entertainment, right?

Based in the heart of London, Attachment is ideally placed to attract both brands and performers, and the founders pride themselves on the direct relationships they have forged on both sides. Having worked with everyone from YouTube to England Rugby, it’s fair to say their optimism is not misplaced.

Why Attachment made our shortlist:

Of course, we’re all slightly dazzled by the A-listers on Attachment’s client roster. But, behind the names in neon lights, it’s a pleasantly straightforward business which doesn’t fall for all the hype that surrounds it.

Unlike some of their competitors, they refuse to take themselves too seriously and appear to have built a winning formula.
