Already the UK’s largest background checking company by volume of checks, the start-up now works with over 1,000 clients worldwide including The Bank of New York and the Independent. It has also focused its efforts on providing a solution to the demands of the rising sharing economy and has helped platforms such as, Deliveroo and Onefinestay vet potential customers and clients.

With a team off 55 employees, and the appointment of ex-Google executive Edward Ungar as CCO, Onfido intends to become a truly global business and wants to ensure the reputation of London’s Tech City as one of the world’s leading digital hubs.
