Tinc, an acronym of Think Inspire Create, is a multi-channel retailer specialising in the sale of solely own branded ‘funky’ stationery, gifts and gadgets. Its product range is available in five primary colours; pink, blue, green, black and white, all of which the company produces and manufactures itself.
Alongside its products, the Tinc brand also incorporates its own social network, Tincville, which has attracted thousands of members. The social platform allows users to join ‘tribes’ that relate to their favourite Tinc colours where they can then interact with one another and discuss the retailer’s latest products and initiatives.
Having launched its operations two years ago, the own branded retailer now owns 10 stores across the south of England and has attracted interest from several major companies with leading department store Fenwicks displaying its products in five key sites.
Tinc is currently focusing on its overseas growth strategy and is in negotiations with companies from the USA, Singapore, UAE and Benelux.
The judges loved the look and design of their functional office products, gifts and gadgets, their appeal as collectible items for children and adults alike, and the extraordinarily impressive growth in revenues in the three years since launch.
