E-commerce solution start-up Yieldify initially came on our radar after featuring in 2014’s Startups 100 list, and the London-based firm has continued to wow judges with its innovative predictive-marketing tech that helps businesses to solve the prevalent and frustrating problem of driving traffic to a website only to see it not converting into sales.
Founders Jay and Meelan Radia’s solution is an algorithm that optimises the overlay shown to users as they leave a website. This tracks visitors’ interests, speed and behaviour; and helps clients improve on-site and email conversion.
Established in March 2012 by the two brothers, the business has scaled at a remarkable rate; securing an impressive and global client list of over 700 customers (which includes The Body Shop, Marks & Spencer and Ben Sherman), revenue growth of 480% in the last year, and a recent Series A round of $11.5m from Google Ventures and SoftBank. Following the investment, the founders plan to extend further into new markets in the US and Asia, and increase their 130 strong team with new data analysts and engineer hires.
