Joseph Valente is closing in on former Apprentice winner Mark Wright as the second Apprentice winner to achieve Young Gun status and is challenging Wright’s claim to operating “the most successful business founded by an Apprentice winner” with his company ImpraGas.

Started in 2012 as a general plumbing business, Valente pivoted to a new business model in 2016, turning its focus exclusively to the installation of boilers and central heating systems.

Today, the company is on a mission to challenge the public perception of cheap, rouge tradesman VS the overpriced cooperation by providing a superior installation package at a highly competitive price, ensuring that it puts the needs of the customer first with a 10-year warranty and “unrivalled” service plan. Currently, the company supplies and installs to private domestic homeowners throughout the Midlands, East Anglia and South East of England with further expansion into the north in the fourth quarter of 2017.

ImpraGas invests heavily in the training of apprentices, even visiting local schools and colleges to talk about apprenticeships, and claims to only work with the “the very best” job planners, engineers, surveyors and supervisors.

It’s an exciting time for ImpraGas after Valente bought back Lord Sugar’s 50% share in the company this April, regaining full control less than two years after winning the show. (Lord Sugar is still on hand to offer help and guidance to his protégé if required).

Now, untethered from this partnership and having narrowed its focus, ImpraGas is set to invest heavily in establishing itself in the market ahead of nationwide expansion and plans to become the UK’s leading boiler installation specialist…
