2009 Young Gun Matt Hagger has announced the restructuring of his product development/ ‘ideas lab’ business E-Man; in a process which he describes as “asset consolidation in preparation for the next phase of the company’s growth”.

The newly formed E-Man Asset Management will hold E-Man Labs’ US and UK subsidiaries, as well as all start-ups that have taken part in its programme.

To foster its growth ambitions, E-Man plans to relocate from its current headquarters in London’s Fitzrovia to a new purpose built facility which will house its alumni start-ups, as well as its product, design, engineering, strategy and marketing teams, under one roof.

Hagger, who now lives in America, has also announced the launch of a Los Angeles-based social network – Doppels -which will look to help people connect with others who share their birthday.

Hagger commented: “I am excited at the future of E-Man Labs.  The company has become increasingly more self-sufficient in recent years, which has allowed me to focus on expansion and taking ideas of my own forward.

“The next phase of the company’s growth will bring all of our alumni companies together, on a more regular basis. […] Our aim is to combine the learnings of every team and create valued information exchange and conversation that will be of great benefit to the entire E-Man alumni.”
