Attention food start-ups! FoodStars is opening a co-working kitchen in Shoreditch

FoodStars, a kitchen space provider which rents fully-fitted commercial production kitchens to businesses in the food and drink sector, has announced plans to open a new flagship location in Shoreditch.

Scheduled to launch in September 2017, the new facility will cover 20,000 square feet and is expected to provide up-and-coming food businesses and start-ups with “state-of-the-art” equipment in both shared and private kitchen spaces.

According to FoodStars, those using its facilities benefit from free internet access, security, communal cleaning, networking opportunities and a community management team. The new Shoreditch location will also offer dry, cold and frozen storage units, office space and nearby parking.

The firm says that it offers flexible membership options for those looking to launch or grow a food company or simply trial a new business idea.

Catering for restaurant groups, retail brands, catering businesses, delivery operators, online grocers and other food enterprises, FoodStars’ kitchens are currently home to businesses including Bill’s, Mustard Catering, Gym Food, Dinnergise and Bel-Air.

Founded in 2015 by Will Beresford, Daniel Abrahams and Roy Shaby, FoodStars currently has locations in Vauxhall, Bethnal Green and Bermondsey, spanning a collected total of 10,000 square feet.
