Mac Tools, the national tools sales franchise, has welcomed four new franchisees to its network this month in several territories across the UK.

New recruits Mark Doig has started operations in Swindon, Neill Ford is “now his own boss” in Canterbury, Steve Williams is operating in Weston-Super-Mare, and Ben Jones has taken up a franchise opportunity in South Bristol.

The franchisees come from an array of backgrounds but are now “looking forward to running their own business, selling and distributing the best tools in the trade”.

Part of the Stanley Black & Decker group, bfa-accredited Mac Tools manufacturers high-quality automotive tools and equipment and claims to have enjoyed 25% year-on-year growth.

The chain has recently been awarded for its van-based franchise opportunities with the accolade of ‘5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction’ from Smith and Henderson. The award is based on anonymous feedback from each and every franchisee on the support on offer, how good the working relationship is, and whether the franchise meets their expectations.

Ben Jones explained his decision to become a Mac Tools franchisee:

“I’ve been using Mac Tools products for a long time, so I know how good they are and how good the company is to work with. When my local Mac Man told me about the opportunities to join the team it got me thinking about how much I’d love to be on the other side, actually selling the tools. Now that I am, I can’t wait to get out on the road as a Mac Man myself.”

Liam Kettlewell, commercial director for Mac Tools UK, continued:“We know our success is built upon the success of our franchise holders so it’s important we do all we can to support them. It’s great to receive such valuable feedback on the business as well as how it interacts with its franchisees.”
