European co-working space provider Mindspace is set to open its doors to UK entrepreneurs and businesses for the first time, with the launch of a new location at Whitechapel, London, set for December 2017.

Spanning two floors and over 30,000 square feet, Mindspace’s first UK facility will accommodate 700 members, including entrepreneurs, freelancers and those working for businesses ranging from start-ups to global enterprises.

The workspace is expected to provide boutique-style offices, meeting rooms and lounges alongside stocked and equipped kitchens. According to Mindspace, members – who pay an all-inclusive membership fee – will be able to access any of its other facilities across the globe.

Additionally, Mindspace runs a range of events to help members “upskill” in various business pursuits, and says it can also offer members special rates from the likes of Amazon and Microsoft, as well as discounts at local restaurants, hotels, services and suppliers.

Opening at the Relay Building on Whitechapel High Street, the new workspace will be close to Aldgate East tube station and within walking distance of the City and Shoreditch. Whitechapel Gallery and Old Spitalfields Market are also nearby.

Founded in 2014, Mindspace operates 13 co-working spaces in locations such as Berlin, Munich, Warsaw, Herzliya and Tel Aviv. The provider says that each of its workspaces are uniquely designed to complement its local community.

With over 7,500 members across Europe, the firm’s workspaces are home to more than 2,000 businesses, including Barclays Bank, Samsung, M&C Saatchi, SAP and Euronews.

Dan Zakai, co-founder and CEO at Mindspace, commented:

“We’re excited to announce the arrival of our first co-working space in London, the most advanced market for co-working in Europe. Mindspace solves for an unmet need of many London-based businesses for a cosmopolitan, high-end, and generous co-working offering.

“At Mindspace London, companies and community members will get everything they need to grow their business and keep their teams happy, at the highest possible quality, from a caring team of community managers, and without being asked to pay extra for every little thing.

“I expect Londoners will be pleasantly surprised with the Mindspace new standard for co-working.”
