At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, founders Jules Robertson and Laura Beales created an innovative service built for the new normal we live in.

Tally Workspace (rebranded in 2022 from Tally Market) helps companies whose staff work either partially or completely from home by providing the ability to book desks and meeting rooms at coworking offices all over the country.

This start-up’s rise has been rapid. In the space of little over a year, it’s brought more than 160 venues into the fold.

At the beginning of each month, businesses buy however many Tally Tokens they want – at £5 a pop – and hand them out to their employees as they see fit. Desks can be booked for as little as one token, while meeting spaces will set you back at least four.

As well as angel funding, Tally Workspace has also received a financial boost from the government’s Innovate UK agency. The award was given as part of the Sustainable Innovation Fund, which encourages the economy’s recovery from COVID-19.

This start-up’s rise has been rapid. In the space of little over a year, it’s brought more than 160 venues into the fold, and it’s not going to stop there – as Tally Workspace is expanding abroad.
