PensionBee, winner of Innovative Business of the Year at the 2016 Startups Awards, has announced a partnership with app-based bank Revolut.

Founded by inspiring woman Romi Savova and Jonathan Lister, PensionBee helps its customers combine their pensions onto one plan, allocating them a dedicated account manager for support. Over 30,000 users have signed up to date and the platform claims to be moving £4m of old pensions each week.

The move will see Revolut – which allows consumers to exchange currencies in 120 currencies at an interbank rate – allow its customer base to combine their pensions in one plan, add more pensions as they switch jobs, make new contributions, and see a live pension balance and forecast of their retirement savings.

Savova commented: “We are excited to broaden PensionBee's reach through our Revolut partnership. Both PensionBee and Revolut put customer empowerment, online experience and transparency at the heart of our offering. We believe Revolut users will love their new PensionBee pensions and managing their retirement savings online!”

Nik Storonsky, founder & CEO of Revolut, added: “Revolut is committed to extending its financial service offerings through partnering with other market leading financial services. Our goal from day one has been to become a financial control centre for managing your entire financial life, and this partnership with PensionBee is another step towards achieving this.”
