The Laundrapp story:

It’s been a stellar couple of years for the app that’s on a mission to “revolutionise the global laundry industry”. Laundrapp – nominated in the Rising Star of the Year category last year – is already cleaning up across London, Edinburgh, Birmingham and over 100 other locations across the UK.

Available for free on iOS, Android and Amazon devices, Startups 100-featured Laundrapp brings professional quality laundry and dry cleaning services to the doors of its customers, with free collection and delivery.

It now claims to offer the “world’s first” fully voice activated laundry service – carried out in partnership with Amazon Echo – alongside more than 50 other services and products including door-to-door shoe repair and cleaning, real-time driver tracking and profiling, and an ‘instant order’ feature .

Along the way, Laundrapp has secured a number of commercial laundry partnerships with some illustrious names such as Amazon, Lloyds Banking Group, Sainsbury’s, Marks & Spencer and Virgin.

Now backed by £10m in funding, thanks to a £5m investment in August, Laundrapp is set to complete its nationwide service before targeting international expansion.
