Young Gun-founded company has provided its support with all profits from tailor-made shirt business to be invested into re-building earthquake stricken country

Bespoke tailoring company A Suit That Fits is backing a new not-for-profit initiative to raise proceeds for the Nepal earthquake relief effort.

With the help of local tailor and survivor Om Yogi, and former fashion editor at Conde Nast International, Riana Pervez, A Suit That Fits co-founder Hathiramani has helped to set up NepalShirt.com. Based on the belief that, “everybody needs a white shirt, whether it is for formal wear, everyday work or casual wear,” the project sells tailor-made Nepalese white shirts for men and women at £50 each – with all profits going to help to rebuild the devastated country.

A Suit That Fits was launched in 2006 by Young Guns David Hathiramani and Warren Bennett, after Bennett experienced the fine tailoring Nepal has to offer while teaching on his gap year. The company’s production base is situated in Nepal.

The 7.8 magnitude earthquake in Nepal on April 25 killed more than 7,500, people and injured more than 14,500.

Yogi commented: “There must be a million people out there that need a white shirt, one million orders for us would mean we can raise £50m for Nepal. Please buy yours from NepalShirt.com.”
