British tennis champion Andy Murray has added another three UK start-ups to his investment portfolio on equity-based crowdfunding platform Seedrs.

His latest crowdfunding investments are blow LTD, an on-demand service for beauty treatments which recently secured £500,000 from Unilever Ventures; Beeline, a smart navigation device and mobile app for bicycles; and Dog Tracker Nano, a live tracking device for dogs.

In February, Murray announced investments into five early-stage UK businesses on Seedrs which inlcuded Startups 100 businesses Commuter Club and We Are Colony, alongside Oppo Ice Cream, Landbay and Readbug.

The tennis star has been actively involved in crowdfunding since August 2015 when he backed Young Gun-founded companies Tossed and Fuel Ventures.

Murray commented: “Giving recognition and support to British entrepreneurs is really important to me, especially those who are the driving force behind growth-focused businesses. Every one of these entrepreneurs is passionate and dedicated to succeeding and I’m excited to have invested in their future growth.”
