Having set up a PR firm already, Jon and Katie decided to move in a completely different direction for their second start-up. Their personalised novel venture won the business plan of the year gong at the 2006 Startups Awards, so the pair were winning recognition before they even opened for business.
The service can place any person at the centre of the story by collecting data such as names, special dates and places relating to the individual. Katie says business is going so well they’re now on the look out for a publishers across the pond to fulfil US orders.
